STONEARMOR

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 19, 2026

Introduction

Welcome to StoneArmor (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of stonearmor.com and all of its calculators, guides, and content (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

What StoneArmor Is — and Isn’t

StoneArmor is an independent, ad-supported information site. Its calculators produce planning estimatesfrom the figures you enter and standard industry conventions — countertop square footage and slab yield, tile and sealer coverage, slab weight, edge and backsplash footage, and project cost. These estimates are not a fabrication quote, an engineering calculation, or a structural-load assessment, and StoneArmor is not a fabricator, slab supplier, or contractor. A licensed fabricator who templates your actual space is the authority on quantities, weight, layout, and price.

Use the Estimates as a Starting Point

Real stone projects vary. Slab yield depends on how a fabricator lays out your pieces to match veining; weight varies by the true density and thickness of your stone; sealer coverage depends on porosity and finish; and price swings with stone grade, region, and shop backlog. Treat every result as a figure to sanity-check a quote and plan a budget — not as a guaranteed outcome — and confirm anything that commits your money, or that concerns the safe handling and support of heavy stone, with a qualified professional before you act.
